An unexpected love, a passionate romance and a getaway wedding...
She was caught up in the romance but he was weaving a web of control.
A story of love, struggle, tragedy and inspiration.
Great writings cannot be placed into just one category, and that is the case for the book entitled Emotionally Broken. Emotionally Broken starts with Kate, a working single mother of two girls that lives with her mother. It is through Kate’s employer, that she takes interest in a high-level manager by the name of Johnathan. He is introduced as charismatic and likeable, but signs of narcissism start to reveal Johnathan’s true persona. As the story progresses, Johnathan becomes increasingly self-absorbed, as his actions become more disturbing. The content is strong throughout, and the pacing does not slow down. It’s a story of love, struggle, tragedy and inspiration. - Steven L.
Emotionally Broken describes how easy it is for a woman to fall for a Narcissistic man who seems to have it all. As the relationship goes on it turns into a relationship based on manipulation and control. Coming out of a marriage with a Narcissist where the roles were reversed I could really relate to this book. It shows that it takes a strong person to leave a relationship like this. The author did a very nice job taking us through the stages of a typical relationship with a narcissistic partner. I highly recommend this book! - Michael
A great fiction book showing the reality of a fast moving "laced with red flags" romance becoming consumed into a marriage of manipulation. The author has cleverly portrayed what the illusion of love can bring in this "can't put this book down" about Katelyn, the main character. She begins a journey into the unfortunate realm of control and manipulation after meeting the someone she envisions is meant for her. This book is a fast paced page-turner with a solid presentation of the mechanics and dynamics of an engulfing narcissistic relationship. What can be common in reading a book is skipping a page or two. Not so with this book. - Isabel R
Love the Author of this book. When you read it you can visualize every single word and sentence. I could relate so well to this book. I was in asimilar situation. As the author and I both got out of a toxic narcissistic relationship and we felt empowered. When you are finished with the book, it makes you feel even more empowered and to go with instincts and watch, signs, and get out sooner then later!! It is never to late. Know your SELF WORTH! This book encompasses all of this!
I have not read a book in 10 years and I finished the book. It kept my interest throughout!!!!! - Deann
This was great book and I thoroughly enjoyed the character development in this. The main character is found lost and struggling in the beginning and finds new hopes for love as the book progresses. Great read! - Matheus
Emotionally Broken is a whirlwind romance filled with lust, sex and love. It keeps the reader engaged with its steamy love scenes while taking you down the road of a bad relationship. Loved every minute of it! - Christopher D
Emotionally Broken is a must read book for everyone, particularly for women trapped in an emotionally abusive relationship. The book is engaging and provocative. It made feel sometimes angry and other times very sad, for Kate, a single mother of two. I couldn't put it down until I finished reading. The book is a great tool for women looking to get out of an abusive relationship. - Gladys B
